TAB BIG BETS: JAPANESE import Admire Rakti has drawn perfectly for Tuesday’s Group 1 Melbourne Cup at Flemington.

VETERAN batsman Younis Khan swatted Michael Clarke’s men on a road to nowhere as Pakistan set up a drought-breaking series triumph in Abu Dhabi.

I GUESS I’m a fringe Derby Day player this year. But it’s Derby Day, and just being a player is a big deal, when all the jocks have their game faces on.

DAVID Villa was starting to recapture his best form at Melbourne City, what a shame he’s going back to New York, Herald Sun’s David Davutovic writes.

THE stamina reserves of Hampton Court and Sweet Idea have been debated all week but were summarily dismissed by trainer Gai Waterhouse on Friday.

MCC 175th Birthday Draw

This year marks 175 years of the Melbourne Cricket Club.

To celebrate, and to reward the fantastic support that MCC members and waiting list candidates have provided from 1838 to today, we’re offering the chance to win a variety of prizes in the MCC 175th Birthday Draw.

Each month until the end of November, random draws will select lucky members and waiting list candidates who have registered their email address with the club.

- MCC members can register their email address here.
- Waiting list candidates can register their email address here

The first draw will be held on Friday May 31, 2013 at midday and each draw after that will be held at 5pm on the last business day of the month.
