2014 AFL Finals Series

Schedule - Week 1 Finals

The MCG will host two matches in the first week of the AFL Finals Series:

Friday September 5 at 7.50pm 
Second Qualifying Final - Hawthorn v Geelong Cats

- Limit of two visitor tickets per member. BUY HERE
- Long Room and Balcony passes will not be issued.
- Seat tickets will be issued upon arrival on levels 2 and 3 only.
- Gate 2 will open at 5.00pm.

Saturday September 6 at 7.15pm 
Second Elimination Final - North Melbourne v Essendon

- Limit of four visitor tickets per member. BUY HERE
- Long Room and Balcony passes will be issued under Category B conditions.
- Seat tickets will be issued upon arrival on levels 2 and 3 only.
- Gate 2 will open at 4.30pm. 


Reserved seats and visitor tickets
More than 6000 reserved seats on levels 1 and 4 for members and their guests, as well as visitor tickets, will go on sale on Monday September 1 at midday.

Visitor tickets cost $77 (adults) and $26 (child under 15).

Reserved seats cost $10 (adults) and $5 (child under 15).

They can be purchased at Ticketek or in person at the MCC office.

Prices are inclusive of GST and all fees, except for a one-off transaction fee of $6.50 transaction fee for all phone, web mail, ezyTicket, mobile ticket delivery and agency bookings made with Ticketek.


Long Room and Balcony Passes

Due to expected demand by members for seating on the middle two levels, the club will not be issuing Long Room passes or Balcony passes for the Hawthorn v Geelong Cats match.

A limited number of passes will be made available for the North Melbourne v Essendon match under Category B conditions.

Advance applications will be accepted online here on a first-in, first-served basis from 9.00am on Tuesday September 2.



Ballot registrations for the Members Dining Room will be taken via website or phone from 9.00am to 5.00pm on Tuesday September 2. Register HERE

Members are only entitled to one registration in the ballot. Duplicate registrations will be excluded.

A reserved seat on Level 2 is part of the Members Dining Room package for matches in the first three weeks of the finals (but this does not apply for the grand final). 

All other dining conditions that existed during the home and away season will apply during Week 1 finals.
