THE sale of the Melbourne Storm to a consortium led by a New Zealand entrepreneur will be announced this morning, The Australian reports.

Visitor Tickets/Reserved seats 
The number of visitor tickets available for early finals will depend on the expected popularity of each game.

A limit of four visitor tickets per member will apply for the Hawthorn v Adelaide Crows match (September 22).

Approximately 6000 reserved seats on levels 1 and 4 will be available for members and their guests for matches in the first three weeks of the AFL finals.

Reserved seats and visitor tickets will go on sale at midday on the Monday preceding the weekend’s game/s.

They will be available through Ticketek or from the Membership Services Office at the ground and, subject to availability, at the members’ entrance on match days.

Long Room and Balcony Passes
Depending on the expected popularity of matches, the club may release Long Room and Balcony passes for some finals matches if we believe these member-only areas could comfortably accommodate some guests.

No Long Room or Balcony passes will be issued to this Saturday's Hawthorn v Adelaide preliminary final.

Dining
Ballot registrations for the Members Dining Room will be taken via website or phone from 9.00am to 5.00pm on the Tuesday preceding the particular match/es in the first three weeks of the finals series.

Members are only entitled to one registration in the ballot. Duplicate registrations will be excluded.

A reserved seat on Level 2 is part of the Members Dining Room package during the early finals but this does not apply for the grand final.

All other dining conditions that existed during the home and away season will apply during the finals.

For the grand final, the ballot will be held on Monday September 24 from 9.00am to 5.00pm.

Overseas Members

Overseas members returning for the 2012 AFL Finals Series will be required to pay an admission fee to attend all finals matches.

Entry is subject to the conditions of an overseas member’s short stay whereby a member will be required to submit a flight itinerary for their stay in Australia.

Ticket prices are as follows:

Qualifying/Elimination Finals:    $61
Semi Finals:                            $61
Preliminary Finals:                   $116
Grand Final:                            $299

Your membership card can be validated for the finals series by:
    - Completing the finals access application form and 
       returning to the club with the member's flight itinerary.
    - Visiting the Membership Services Office (open Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.00pm).
    - Visiting the membership services windows at Gate 2 on a match day
       upon presentation of flight itinerary (long delays may be experienced on match day).

Overseas members will be able to purchase visitor tickets to weeks 1 – 3 of the AFL Finals Series (subject to availability).

The MCC advises that an Overseas member send their travel itinerary to membership@mcc.org.au at least 48 hours prior to the on-sale date for visitor tickets for activation of their membership barcode with Ticketek.

Payment of 2012/13 subscription fees (due by August 31, 2012) will be required before being admitted for AFL finals series matches.

Reciprocal Members

Normal access arrangements apply for members of overseas reciprocal clubs for all finals matches. 

Etihad Stadium’s Axcess One members, VRC members and members of interstate reciprocal clubs/venues do not have entry entitlements during the AFL finals series.

AFL Grand Final

Members Reserve’s capacity of about 22,500 will be available for the 2012 AFL Grand Final on Saturday September 29 and Full members are strongly encouraged to support the match.

Please check details of seating arrangements and the reserved seat ballot in the Grand Final Reserved Seat Ballot Guide.

While Restricted members are ineligible to attend the grand final, if the Reserve appears likely to be at less than capacity, a limited number of entry tickets may be sold either in the week leading up to the grand final or on the morning of the match.

The Reserve will be split into approximately 60 per cent reserved seats and 40 per cent walk-up seats for the grand final.

About 13,000 pre-purchased reserved seats were set aside for successful applicants in a random computer ballot. The remainder will be available for walk-up members when gates open at 8.00am.
