WELLINGTON Phoenix duo Nathan Burns and Michael McGlinchey combine for three goals in a comfortable victory over a poor Newcastle Jets side.

THE exhilarating Melbourne derby was possibly the best ever and would have gone some way to convincing David Villa to return from New York.

MANCHESTER City’s bid to put pressure on EPL leaders Chelsea suffered a setback as the champions slumped to a surprise 2-1 defeat at West Ham.

IT was a tough day in the NBA for Australia with Joe Ingles and Brock Motum getting cut.

ARSENAL won their first Premier League match in over a month, beating Sunderland 2-0 with a brace from Alexis Sanchez after a pair of defensive errors.

    Information for Families

The Members Reserve is a family-friendly area, offering a range of facilities for parents and their children to enjoy their day at the ‘G.

    Parent Room
A Parenting Room is located inside the members’ entrance at Gate 2 on Level 1.

The room has baby change tables, cubicles with lounge chairs for breastfeeding, toilets and a microwave. Please note that these facilities are for the exclusive use of those members tending to the needs of a child.

If you are the parent or guardian of a different sex child who is much too grown up to go the public toilets with you (and too young to go on their own), the Parenting Room is an ideal alternative.

    Babes in Arms
Children five and under are admitted free into the Members Reserve for all events.

    Wristbands for children
The MCG now has Kids Connection. Parents now have peace of mind when bringing children to the MCG.

Wristbands are available at the public enquiry counter at the Stadium Management Centre, (Level B1, Ponsford Stand) and the Membership Services Office.

Parents can write either their mobile number or seat location on the back of the wristband. If their child gets lost we can call or locate mum or dad quickly.

Getting children reunited with parents quickly will reduce stress levels of parents and children who get separated while at the ground. This is a free service and parents of small children should be encouraged to get a wristband for their child.

    Prams and Strollers
The club acknowledges that many of our members require prams or strollers for ease of access to the ground and do not wish to dissuade customers by making it too difficult to come to the MCG.

However, inside the stadium prams may become a health and safety risk to other patrons. Prams and strollers are permitted within the stadium. They can be placed in seating areas if they can be folded and placed under the seats or away from seating as long as they do not present a safety hazard to customers.

If they cannot be folded they can be cloaked at the Customer Service Office at M57 or the Stadium Management Centre on level B1, adjacent to Bill Lawry Indoor Cricket Centre.

Prams can also be placed in wheelchair accessible bays as long as the bays have not been pre-sold as reserved seats and space is still available for patrons with disability.
