Function Booking Information

Function Information and Conditions
The following function purchase information has been outlined to ensure an understanding of the purchase process for MCC member functions. If you have any questions about the information below, please contact the MCC via email (membership@mcc.org.au) or call (03) 9657 8888.

Function Booking Process
MCC function bookings are either first-in, best-dressed or a ballot is conducted for specific functions. This is outlined in the information on the website for each individual function. For first-in, best-dressed functions, member credit cards are charged at the time of application. For functions where a ballot is conducted, credit cards are only charged if the member application is successful in the ballot.

Purchase Method
Payments processed via the MCC website can be paid either with Visa or Mastercard only.

Booking Confirmation
If you do not receive a receipt number after submitting your booking, or if you experience an error message when processing your application or payment, it is your responsibility to confirm with the MCC whether or not your booking has been received.

Member and Guest Limit
When making a booking there may be member and guest limits. Some functions may be members only, whereas other functions may place a limit on the number of guests per member. These details are outlined as part information for each specific function and may change from year to year for the same function.

Cancelled Functions
Occasionally, functions may be cancelled. When this occurs, the MCC will ensure you receive a prompt refund for functions paid.

Refunds
Before making your function booking, please carefully review the details of your request.
Any cancellations will only be accepted seven working days prior to the function and can be done so by contacting Member and Customer Services on (03) 9657 8888 or membership@mcc.org.au.

Unfortunately, refunds cannot be given for cancellations after this time or for non-attendance on the day.

Booking Changes
Any changes to a booking (eg. change of guest name) must be forwarded to the club at least two business days prior to the function.  The club reserves the right to accept these changes only if they can be accommodated.
