WITH an internal probe being launched and the players’ wives - but not girlfriends - on their way, India’s tour of Australia is getting rather chaotic.

THEY’RE the moments you’ll never forget from a very memorable sporting year. VIEW THE GALLERY HERE.

AUSTRALIAN cycling star Simon Gerrans has broken his left collarbone in training, ruining his home season.

UNCAPPED Queenslander Joe Burns has beaten former Test opener Ed Cowan to the punch and will play for Australia in the Boxing Day Test.

ROBERT CRADDOCK: Picking an in-form Joe Burns is a positive move, with Australia carrying two batsmen who have long been more style than results.

    Members' Golf Day

The next Members’ Golf Day will return to Victoria Golf Club for the first time since 2007 when it is held on Wednesday November 20.

Victoria was ranked the ninth-best course in the country in last year’s Australian Golf Digest’s Top 100 Australian Courses and members are invited to tackle the challenging layout.

After a tough day competing for the President’s Plate, participants can relax and enjoy a gourmet barbeque, drinks and prizes (held at the conclusion of each session).

Members may choose between a morning and afternoon session. Entrants must hold either a club, VGA or WGV official handicap.

    ------------------------------------------------------

While the ballot period has closed, places still remain in the PM session.

Please complete an application form and email to mccfunctions@mcc.org.au to book your place.
