    Comedy at the 'G

    The MCC is excited to announce its second pre-match Comedy @ the ‘G function for 2014.

    Laugh along with some of Australia’s top comics, whilst you enjoy a two-hour, pre-game, snack food and beverage package with friends prior to the Richmond v Essendon game. A reserved seat on Level 2 to watch the match is also included.

    The evening's entertaining line-up includes Sarah Jones, Rusty Berther and UK act Jeff Green.

    Sarah Jones – This talented comedian has previously been described as a ‘ray of comedy sunshine’. With her sweet, warm and engaging nature, along with a healthy dose of self deprecation, the entertaining comedian is also a talented ventriloquist of note.

    Rusty Berther – Formerly a member of one of Australia’s favourite comedy duo’s The Scared Little Weird Guys, Rusty has gone solo working on a number of television ventures, as well as live performance. Rusty is an accomplished all-round entertainer and musician, with his variety of instruments including the ukulele and banjo, his years of experience and diverse performance history ensure a show of laughs aplenty.

    Jeff Green – Award-winning British comedian Jeff Green has become a well known face and voice in the Australian television landscape. Amongst many of his TV credits are Spicks and Specks, Good News Week and numerous appearances on the Melbourne Comedy Festival Gala. Jeff’s witty and intelligent brand of comedy has him in-demand both here and in the UK.

    There is a maximum one guest per member and guests will need a visitor ticket to access the ground.

    Access to other member-only areas will require a Balcony pass which members need to apply for in advance.
