NICK Kyrgios has followed in the footsteps of the greats with his historic charge into the Australian Open quarter-finals.

ARSENAL, West Ham and Aston Villa redressed the balance for Premier League teams after a flow of FA Cup upsets, securing narrow fourth-round wins.

THE Perth Scorchers won through to their fourth BBL grand final with a dominant performance defending a modest total against the Melbourne Stars.

ANDY Murray has set up a mouth-watering quarter final clash with young Australian tyro Nick Kyrgios after overcoming Grigor Dimitrov.

BERNARD Tomic has savaged Australian Open officials over scheduling issues after bowing out at Melbourne Park.
