    Long Room Wine and Food Society - November Luncheon

    Our last luncheon for 2014, following the annual general meeting, will be held in the Members Dining Room with pre-lunch drinks in the bar area of the room (Level 2 of the MCC Reserve) on Wednesday November 26 at 12.15pm for 12.45pm.

    This will be our annual international day and will feature some superb wines from a number of regions in New Zealand. The wines will be complemented by a menu selected by Epicure and our wine and food master, Paul Kinross.

    Members may bring up to three guests to the luncheon.

    Bookings will be processed on a first-in basis and as functions are always extremely popular you will need to get your reply in early to avoid disappointment. Although members are encouraged to mix, if you have any seating preference please indicate this in the seating request field and we will endeavour to accommodate you.

    Bookings for this function will close on Thursday November 20.

    Long Room Wine and Food Society - December Cocktail Party

    To round off the year the society’s annual Christmas party will be held on Thursday December 11, 2014 from 6pm until 9pm for both members and those on our waiting list. The venue will be the Members Dining Room (Level 2 of the MCC Reserve) with spectacular views across the ground.

    Our wine and food master, Paul Kinross, has arranged a fine selection of oysters, together with a range of canapés prepared by the Epicure chefs to complement the wines selected by Paul and cellar master Ian Maguire for what promises to be a very special evening.

    Both members and waiting list candidates are welcome to attend at a cost of $55.00 and they may bring one guest only at a cost of $65.00.

    Bookings will be processed on a first-in basis and as functions are always extremely popular you will need to get your reply in early to avoid disappointment.
