    Long Room Wine and Food Society September Luncheon

    Our next luncheon will be held in the Members Dining Room with pre-lunch drinks in the Long Room (Level 2 of the MCC Reserve) during grand final week on Wednesday September 24, 2014 at 12.15pm for 12.45pm.

    This will be a cellar day featuring wines from the society cellar selected by our wine and food master, Paul Kinross, and cellar master Ian Maguire. The wines will be complemented by a menu selected by Epicure and Paul Kinross.

    Members may bring up to three guests to the luncheon.

    Bookings will be processed on a first-in basis and as functions are always extremely popular you will need to get your reply in early to avoid disappointment. Although members are encouraged to mix, if you have any seating preference please indicate this in the seating request field and we will endeavour to accommodate you.

    Bookings for this function will close on Thursday September 18.

    Long Room Wine and Food Society Speacial Dinner

    The society’s committee has decided to hold another special dinner in the Epicure kitchen. The dinner will take place on Thursday October 9, 2014 at 6.30pm for 7.00pm and will be restricted to members only.

    The dinner will feature wines from the society’s cellar selected by our wine and food master Paul Kinross and cellar master Ian Maguire. The wines will be complemented by a menu selected by Epicure and Paul. Each chef will be invited to talk about their presentation.

    As this dinner is a special function, numbers will be strictly limited to 50 members only and you are advised to book early to secure a place. There will be no set seating for the dinner with members being encouraged to mix.

    Bookings for this function will close on Friday October 3.
