Women in Cricket Test Breakfast

Always on Day 2 of the Boxing Day Test (December 27th) this breakfast is held in the Member’s Dining Room. With a capacity of 400 we invite both female and male members as well as their guests.

Members and guests who attend enjoy a sit-down breakfast, beverage service and a reserved seat on Level 2 in front of the Members Dining Room.

This function marks the beginning of our fundraising for the year where we raise funds to support women and girls from diverse backgrounds to participate in sport.

Entertainment includes Angela Pippos as our MC, a variety of guest speakers, auction items kindly donated by our supporters and door prizes donated by the MCC.

Guests and speakers have included: Damien Flemming (2006), Betty Wilson (2007), Kate Fitzpatrick (2008), Geoff Lawson (2009), Justin Langer (2010), Wasim Akrim, Meg Lanning and Emma Inglis (2011), just to name a few.

The popularity of this event is increasing every year and ensures a very enjoyable experience for those who attend.
