NICO Rosberg has won his third straight Monaco Grand Prix after a crucial error from Mercedes took the race away from teammate Lewis Hamilton.

ROGER Federer’s perfect opening to an ambitious French Open campaign has been marred by a security breach which clearly irked the world No 2.

NICK Kyrgios has fended off accusations of arrogance as Pat Rafter described the Canberra prodigy’s talent so extreme grand slam success is almost inevitable.

JAMES Magnussen’s decision to sacrifice world title history to fix his troubled shoulder means he can seek Olympic redemption in Rio next year without the weight of the world on those same shoulders.

MELBOURNE Vixens’ title defence is officially over after losing a thrilling battle against NSW Swifts at Margaret Court Arena on Sunday.

    CRICKET LEGEND PASSES ON TIPS

Former Australian fast bowler and current Australia women's head coach, Cathryn Fitzpatrick, was a welcome guest at MCC women's cricket training at the Albert Ground on January 21, 2015.

Fitzpatrick played 13 Tests and 109 one-day matches for Australia between 1991 and 2006 and was widely regarded as the fastest female bowler of her time.

Before her appoinment as Australia coach two years ago, she was an assistant coach as well as head coact of VicSpirit.

The MCC is extremely appreciative of the time 'Fitzy' spent with the players, both one-on-one and in groups, and it is hoped her pearls of wisdom can be put into good effect by our girls in the lead up to the finals.
