While the MCC home ground is the MCG, very few Premier Cricket games are played there owing to the heavy national and interstate program.
The MCC First and Second XI play their home matches at the picturesque Albert Ground, the club's 'home base' for more than a century.
The Albert Ground also hosts countless representative cricket matches in any given summer, including Cricket Australia Cup, Dowling Shield, XXIX Club, Country Week and Australian Under 17 and Under 19 championship matches.
Since the start of the 2007/08 season, the club's Third and Fourth XI have played at IW Johnson Oval in Albert Park.
Formerly home to South Melbourne Cricket Club, the MCC transferred to IW Johnson Oval from nearby Fawkner Park when South Melbourne moved its home base to Cranbourne.
