56th ANNUAL XXIX CLUB DINNER
The XXIX Club is delighted to have secured Mervyn Hughes as guest speaker for this year’s annual dinner. 
A lively character armed with an imposing moustache and a classic fast bowlers' glare down the pitch, Merv was a crowd favourite that drew crowds to all forms of the game. Merv played 53 Test matches for Australia, finishing with 212 wickets, which included a best of 8/87 vs the West Indies in 1988-89.
