55th ANNUAL XXIX CLUB DINNER Kerry O'Keeffe

The XXIX Club is delighted to have secured Kerry O’Keeffe as guest speaker for this year’s annual dinner.

Kerry is recognised today as much for his quick wit and amusing narrative as he is for his cricketing career. His Australian Test and one-day international appearances included the 1977 Centenary Test played at the MCG, where he took three vital wickets on that climactic final day. In all there were 24 Test appearances among his 169 first-class matches, mainly for New South Wales, plus a stint of county cricket with Somerset, that yielded 476 first-class wickets and over 4,000 runs.

Kerry has become one of the game’s most entertaining personalities since his retirement as a Kerry O'Keeffe in action.player.
