About MCC Membership

Melbourne Cricket Club is Australia's largest club and one of the biggest sporting clubs in the world.

As at the end of the last membership season (August 31, 2014) there were approximately 103,400 MCC members, which comprises 62,400 Full members and 41,000 Restricted members.

There are also more than 236,000 waiting list candidates.

Full membership entitles members entry into the Members Reserve at the MCG for all cricket and football matches and most special sporting events, unless capacity has been reached.

(Please note some special events may require the member to pay a nominal entry fee.)

Full members also enjoy a range of value-added benefits, which include reciprocal rights at clubs/stadiums around Australia and overseas as well as the opportunity to attend numerous club functions exclusive to MCC members.

Restricted members also have access to all these events, but their card does not automatically admit to the grand final. A decision on admittance to the grand final is usually made in the days leading up to the match.

Restricted members also are not able to nominate candidates for the waiting list, vote on club affairs or receive reciprocal rights at other clubs and stadiums.
