THE Socceroos will be better prepared for Tuesday’s clash in Tajikistan than they were on their last away trip, according to Mark Milligan.

A PATIENT Massimo Luongo believes his extensive ‘school of hard knocks’ apprenticeship will have him primed for the Premier League when he makes the jump.

GUN all-rounder Mitchell Marsh’s surprise demotion in the ODI batting order could potentially be replicated in the Test team for the upcoming tour of Bangladesh.

JARRYD Hayne belongs in the NFL. Just ask San Francisco wide receiver Quinton Patton or coach Jim Tomsula, who didn’t hold back their praise for the Aussie.

Non-Event Day Dining

One of the lesser-known privileges of being a MCC member is the opportunity to avail yourself and your guests of the top-notch function and dining facilities on offer at the MCG on non-event days.

Members can book fabulous locations such as the Members Dining Room, Long Room or Bullring Bar for private functions with a touch of class. Please note that use of the Long Room for private functions requires approval from the MCC Committee.

An excellent a la carte luncheon is served in the Committee Room on Level 2 of the Members Reserve, adjacent to the Long Room, on all weekday non-event days.

And while you're here, why not treat yourself and your guests to a visit to the National Sports Museum, featuring some of the finest artefacts, people and moments in Australia's sporting history.
