THE genius of Johnathan Thurston has finally had its way with a grand final, willing the Cowboys over the finish line in a golden point thriller.

IT was perhaps the greatest game of rugby league ever played. But who stood up under the pressure and who cracked when it mattered most?

IMMORTALITY awaits Cowboys champion Johnathan Thurston. And it waited until the last, last moment, writes PAUL KENT.

BRONCOS coach Wayne Bennett slammed the golden-point concept, believing grand finals should not be decided by an extra-time shootout.

THERE was hysterical sobbing and total disbelief — and that was from the winners. Don’t miss Robert Craddock’s take on an epic grand final.

Reciprocal Clubs

Lord'sThe MCC has entered into formal arrangements for its Full members to have reciprocal rights with a number of sporting clubs and stadiums in Melbourne, interstate and overseas.

Due to the fact that a large number of local members may be visiting these venues at any time, and because members' accommodation is very limited at all of them, MCC membership carries varying rights at these venues.

In general, the Australian grounds admit MCC Full members (at a charge) to interstate cricket, AFL or local competition football where applicable.  These clubs/stadiums also have rights to use the MCC member facilities at the MCG.

It is highly recommended that MCC members contact the appropriate venue prior to your arrival to check what privileges are available for the matches on offer.
