THE way that Brad Haddin learnt of his axing from the Australian Test side speaks volumes about the man.

RIO de Janeiro is undergoing an intense transformation as it prepares to host the 2016 Olympic Games, and getting there will be anything but plain sailing.

DARREN Lehmann has made an emotional defence of his sacking of Brad Haddin, calling it “the hardest decision I’ve ever had to make as a coach or player”.

THERE’S nothing like Australian Olympic glory to propel a team or an individual into our national psyche. Jon Anderson counts down our most memorable performances of all time.

ENGLAND is 2-1 up in the Ashes and boy are the Poms letting us know about it, with one former Test star issuing a withering take down of the Aussies.
