AFTER a long and successful week in Glasgow the Australian swim team have eclipsed their greatest total medal haul at a Commonwealth Games.

AUSTRALIAN mountain bike couple Daniel McConnell and Rebecca Henderson have both won bronze medals in their cross-country finals.

THE magic of the cup is alive and well as

TEENAGE weightlifter Chika Amalaha’s record-breaking gold medal performance is under a doping cloud after she returned a positive test.

PHIL Hughes became the first Australian man to score a double ton in a one-day match, belting an incredible 202 not out against South Africa A.

How long must I wait to be a member?

The committee determines the number of candidates it can offer Restricted and Full membership in June/July of each year.

Due to numerous variable factors that are taken into consideration when determining new member intakes each year, it is not possible to estimate exactly how long a candidate on the waiting list will have to wait before they are offered membership.

However, we do know the nomination date of the latest candidates elected to membership in our intake for the 2014/15 season.

All Restricted members who were nominated on the waiting list from January 1, 1990 to April 30, 1990 inclusive will be offered Full membership.

Waiting list candidates nominated from April 1, 1996 to July 31, 1996 inclusive will be offered Restricted membership.

The waiting list, therefore, consists of candidates nominated from August 1, 1996 to today.
