    Introducing the Terrace Cafe

    Mar 29, 2012

The new Terrace Cafe located in the Members Reserve will be unveiled for tonight’s Richmond-Carlton clash after much anticipation.

Previously the Members' Cafe, the Terrace Cafe is located at the rear of the Members Dining Room on Level 2. As you can see from the images below, it has been completely transformed into a new-look cafe/restaurant and the menu overhauled with meals made-to-order in a sleek and elegant, yet comfortable setting with spectacular views back to the city.

Tapas plates, chorizo salad, pan-fried Atlantic cod, slow-roasted lamb, gourmet sandwiches, chocolate brownies and a pastry selection are just some of the offerings you can expect to see.

"The aim is to position the cafe at the top tier of the food pyramid," said MCC hospitality executive manager Rebecca Harvey. "It will be a smart, dine-in option that differs from the other quick-service offers in the Reserve."

Those looking for a quality bite to eat before the football or at half-time can be assured there is an emphasis on quick turnarounds for sit-down meals.

If you're attending any match this weekend and after a casual yet quick meal, then this may be the place for you.
