    Hird, Kelty headline Norm Smith Oration

    James HirdFollowing a number of enquiries from members, the club has decided to allow guests to attend the Norm Smith Oration with members on Tuesday June 5.

    Reprising the legacy of the champion player and coach, this major public event sees prominent Australians present ways for the game of Australian football to be the best it can be, on and off the field.

    This year, Essendon champion and current coach, James Hird will propose the toast to football, with a response from AFL commissioner Bill Kelty.

    Hosted by renowned broadcaster Tim Lane, this three-course dinner event is not to be missed. 

    Last year, Garry Lyon and Tony Charlton were a major hit and this year's duo is bound to enthral.
