    Australian music icon and MCC member James Reyne visits the MCG to promote the MCC 175th Anniversary Gala on November 15, 2013.Top Australian artist and long-time MCC member, James Reyne, made a visit to the home of Australian sport today ahead of his performance at the MCC 175th Anniversary Gala next month.

    The former member of iconic band Australian Crawl will grace the MCG on the evening of Friday November 15, alongside Aussie pop singer Daryl Braithwaite, in celebration of the MCC’s 175th birthday.

    As a 30-year MCC member, it’s fitting that James will be a big part of the birthday celebrations. He values his membership and appreciates first-hand how thrilling it is to perform at the MCG.

    “Well, look with what you get access to...it’s incredible,” said James on his time as an MCC member.

    “The sense of old world charm, the Long Room, the fantastic viewing position...”

    And how does the MCG compare to other concert venues?

    “It’s amazing. In the real sense of the word, it’s awesome!”

    James and Daryl will join forces as the headline act of the 175 gala after party where guests will be enjoy drinks, finger food and live entertainment well into the evening.
