    MCC extends ticketing partnership

    The Melbourne Cricket Club (MCC) today announced that Ticketek will continue as the ticketing services partner of the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) for a further five years, following the completion of a competitive tender process.

    The renewed partnership will ensure patrons continue to receive quick and easy access to tickets for events at the MCG through Australia’s most comprehensive sales and distribution network.

    These include Ticketek’s market leading mobile site and mobile apps, Australia’s number one entertainment events website ticketek.com.au, a dedicated call centre and extensive national agency network.

    The MCG is one of Australia’s largest and most successful stadiums. An extremely busy venue hosting Australian rules football, international cricket, rugby, soccer, concerts and other major functions, it is attended by more than 3.5 million people annually.

    MCC CEO Stephen Gough is pleased that Ticketek has been reappointed.
