QUEEN Elizabeth starred at the Commonwealth Games’ opening ceremony this morning, but the subtext of her appearance was awkward to say the least.

RAFAL Majka has climbed to his second mountain stage victory of the Tour de France, as Simon Gerrans calls it quits.

JAMES Magnussen is back where it all started and he wants Australia to know he has become a better man for the journey he has taken to this moment.

MELBOURNE City is on the verge of signing decorated Slovenian midfielder Robert Koren as its international marquee player.

AUSTRALIAN champion Simon Gerrans did not start the 17th stage of the Tour de France and has pulled out with an injury.

Filming and Photo Requests

The MCG is a popular venue for a variety of activities performed by stakeholders, media, students, government and commercial enterprises.

The MCC receives numerous requests to access the venue on non-event days. The club also receives requests for access to other MCC-managed venues, such as the Albert Ground.

The MCC Communications Department will be the first point of contact to manage non-event day MCG access requests, and ensure that relevant MCC policies, including safety requirements and arena availability, are complied with.

To make a request, please email communications@mcc.org.au in the first instance, detailing the nature of your request and the preferred date, time and other requirements.

An assessment will then be undertaken as to the suitability of the request.
