The Melbourne Cricket Club regrets to advise that arenas operations manager Cameron Hodgkins has tendered his resignation. Hodgkins has been in charge of turf operations at the MCG for the past four years, after a five-year stint as head curator at Bellerive Oval.
Raptors in use to deter Silver Gulls at MCG this weekend

The MCC has sought and received approval from the Department of Sustainability and Environment for a one-off trial of raptors to deter Silver Gulls at the MCG during the two AFL preliminary finals this weekend.
Great Southern Stand project builder appointed

Premier Ted Baillieu today announced that work on a $55 million upgrade of the MCG's Great Southern Stand will start shortly after the AFL Grand Final following the appointment of Construction Engineering as the project builder.
