THE Kiwi skipper is one of the most damaging batsmen in the world. But his record against Australia is less than convincing.

AUSTRALIA’S Geoff Ogilvy is battling with Jordan Spieth for the lead early during the first round of the Australian Open golf championship in Sydney.

AMERICANS have reacted with shock to the shooting of NFL star Stedman Bailey, who copped two bullets to the head while sitting in a car.

THERE is no pressure quite like being the supremely talented grandson of the greatest athlete of all time.

WATCH this lad achieve the impossible, potting a conversion after hitting the posts not once, not twice but three times — and then the crossbar for good measure.

Limited MCG car parking for this weekend's AFL matches

    Aug 13, 2010

Due to recent inclement weather, the Melbourne Cricket Club (MCC) advises that the number of spaces available for car parking in Yarra Park will again be restricted for each AFL match this weekend at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG).

The three matches being played at the MCG this weekend are:
    • Friday August 13 – Essendon v Collingwood, 7.40pm
    • Saturday August 14 – Carlton v Richmond, 2.10pm
    • Sunday August 15 – Hawthorn v Melbourne, 2.10pm

As a result, the MCC advises patrons attending any of the matches to take public transport to the MCG where possible. More than 60,000 fans are expected to attend tonight’s Essendon-Collingwood match and approximately 50,000 for both Saturday’s Carlton-Richmond and Sunday’s Hawthorn-Melbourne matches.

Alternatively, car parking options away from Yarra Park include the Olympic Park precinct (Olympic Boulevard), Federation Square and Melbourne’s central business district.

MCG fans can get the latest updates on parking in Yarra Park for this weekend’s matches via, Facebook ( and Twitter (
