USAIN Bolt made it world title No.11 with a typically stunning final leg for Jamaica’s 4x100m relay team on Saturday night.

DAVID Warner has brought up an unexpected century on this Ashes tour and it’s one that has laid the platform for the batting superstar’s long-term future.

AUSTRALIA has produced many great goalkeepers but Mat Ryan is on track to become the best ever, according to trailblazer Mark Bosnich.

SANDY Montag, one of the biggest agents in American sport, has labelled Jarryd Hayne a real life Rocky Balboa, saying: “Everyone is about to want a piece of this kid”.

FORGET Geelong, Patrick Dangerfield could dominate in the NFL according to one Aussie expert. Who else could follow in Jarryd Hayne’s footsteps?

The MCC is proud to be able to offer our Sporting Sections access to the many function and dining rooms we now have available throughout our Members Reserve.

We hope that this manual provides our Sporting Sections with the information required to manage successful functions.

Although we appreciate the fact that many of our Sporting Sections rely on the services of their representatives who are often assisting in a voluntary capacity, it is important that each Section understands the need to take ownership of their respective function.

Therefore we will assume that each Section, when organising a function, have put together their own budgets, decided on a ticket price, organised a booking form or point of contact and in general taken all necessary steps to ensure the function is a success.
