ANGEL di Maria gets hooked again, Vincent Kompany is dropped, while only the Bundesliga’s Wolfsburg have had a better 2015 than Liverpool.

KYLE Coetzer has become the first Scotland player to post a World Cup century but Bangladesh chased down a big total in Nelson.

UPDATE: QUEENSLAND Reds star Karmichael Hunt has been fined $30,000 by the Australian Rugby Union and suspended for six weeks after pleading guilty to cocaine charges.

AUSTRALIA produced a record-breaking thumping of Afghanistan at the World Cup - yet some still need to lift their game. Here’s our verdict on each player’s contribution.

The MCC is proud to be able to offer our Sporting Sections access to the many function and dining rooms we now have available throughout our Members Reserve.

We hope that this manual provides our Sporting Sections with the information required to manage successful functions.

Although we appreciate the fact that many of our Sporting Sections rely on the services of their representatives who are often assisting in a voluntary capacity, it is important that each Section understands the need to take ownership of their respective function.

Therefore we will assume that each Section, when organising a function, have put together their own budgets, decided on a ticket price, organised a booking form or point of contact and in general taken all necessary steps to ensure the function is a success.
