AUSTRALIA captain Steve Smith capped off an incredible year after winning Australia’s highest cricketing honour, the Allan Border Medal. Re-live here!

SOCCEROOS coach Ange Postecoglou believes it may have put a dampener on the tournament if the Socceroos hadn’t reached the Asian Cup final.

ANDY Murray has produced an Australian Open masterclass, subjecting Nick Kyrgios to a grand slam lesson in the nuances of professionalism.

SO close they can almost touch it, the Socceroos are on the verge of conquering Asia. Ange Postecoglou’s side is in the final of the Asian Cup.

HAD Andy Murray not proven handy with a racquet it’s not too much of a stretch to imagine him carving out a successful career as an undertaker.
