Stephen GoughThe MCC manages the ground through eight departments responsible to the chief executive officer. They are:

  • Member and Customer Services
  • Events
  • Executive
  • Facilities
  • Finance and Information Systems
  • Commercial Operations
  • Heritage and Tourism (including MCG Tours)
  • Human Resources

There are about 140 permanent club employees and event staff are drawn from a pool of 900-plus for match-day duties at the ground.

Staff from the Executive, Finance & Information Systems, Human Resources, Commercial Operations, Member and Customer Services, Heritage & Tourism and Events departments now occupy new offices on Level 3 on the northern side of the stadium.  Facilities staff offices on Level B1 and B2 of the Great Southern Stand.
