MCC member access to Lord's 2009 cricket - update

Lord's cricket groundBookings have now closed for MCC Full members who reside outside of England to apply for entry tickets to Lord’s for the Test match and one-day internationals being played on Australia’s 2009 Ashes tour.

Although not previously advised, members need to be aware that they are unable to alter their ticket selections once the club has submitted them to Lord’s.

By lodging the ticket booking order form to the club, members are committing to make payment for the tickets accordingly.

Also, members need to be aware that the club will need to purchase the tickets from Lord’s based on the exchange rate at the time and the total cost of the ticket purchase price will be borne by the member.

There is a daily limit of one ticket per member and one for a guest for the following matches:

Test match
England v Australia - July 16 to July 20

One-Day internationals
England v Australia - September 6
England v Australia - September 12

For the first three days of the Test match and the one-day internationals, all tickets will be allocated as reserved seats in the Public Stands.

For the fourth and fifth days of the Test, the tickets will comprise reserved seats in the Public Stands or a member may make application for a 'Reciprocal Guest Pass' (£24) that will allow access to the Members Pavilion and Members' Friends Enclosures (Warner Stand, Tavern Stand and Allen Stand Lower Tier).

Rover tickets are also available for unreserved seats in the Members' Friends Enclosures.
