The MCG will host two matches in the first week of the 2018 AFL Finals Series.
First Qualifying Final

Gate 2 will open at 4.30pm

Gate 2 will open at 5.00pm
Access to the Reserve
All Full and Restricted members will be able to scan their membership card at the turnstiles to enter the Reserve (subject to availability).Note: As the 2018/19 membership season commences on September 1, Full and Restricted members must have renewed their subscription for the new season in order for their card to be activated on match day during the finals series.
Visitor tickets and reserved seats
Visitor tickets and reserved seats went on sale on Tuesday August 28 at midday and sold out within an hour.Approximately 13,000 seats and standing room spaces will be available on a walkup basis when Gate 2 opens on match day.
Children under six are admitted free into the Reserve, provided they are accompanied by an adult.

Long Room and Balcony passes
There will be no Long Room or Balcony passes issued for this match.Dining
The Members Dining Room and Jim Stynes Grill will be available for members. Each member can register up to one guest.Registrations in the ballot for both matches will be taken on Tuesday September 4 (9.00am-5.00pm).
Members and guests booked into the Members Dining Room will receive the usual allocation of reserved seats (N37-39).
Jim Stynes Grill diners will be able to utilise the behind glass viewing seats in the room. Seat tickets will be allocated while members are dining.
Seat ticket distribution
Seat tickets will be issued upon arrival in the walkup areas on the first three levels of the Reserve, but not the top level.No public car parking – utilise public transport
For safety and security reasons, there will be no public car parking available in Yarra Park for either match in the first week of the finals series.While a limited number of parking spaces will be available via Gate 3 for disability permit holders and other passholders, eligible patrons are urged to arrive early to avoid missing out.
Members and guests are advised to utilise public transport to get to the MCG, as road closures and peak hour traffic are all expected to bring congestion to the sporting precinct.
Road closures
To allow footy fans to safely access the MCG from Richmond station:• Brunton Avenue will be closed to all vehicle traffic in both directions from three hours before the first bounce until one hour after the match.
• During the same period, Jolimont Street and Jolimont Terrace will be closed to all vehicle traffic except for vehicles dropping off mobility-impaired patrons.
Provisional members
Provisional members will not be able to use their membership card to enter the Reserve during the AFL finals series.Reciprocal clubs
Please note that members of interstate reciprocal clubs will not have access to the MCC Reserve during the AFL Finals Series.Overseas members
