Visiting the Members’ Reserve for the 2022 AFL Premiership Season

AFL matches played at the MCG are assigned a category by the Club that determines match access for members, what areas can be entered and how many visitor tickets and Long Room or Balcony passes a member can obtain.

Please read the details below on the current Members’ Reserve operations.

Members' Reserve Operations

For all remaining home and away matches of the 2022 AFL Premiership Season, a dedicated amount of ‘Walk Up’ seating will be available on all four levels of the Members’ Reserve.

Members will also be able to reserve a seat on Levels 1, 2 and 4 of the Reserve via Ticketek. Members will not be required to pay to reserve their own seat.

Members now have the flexibility of Walk Up seating on a match day or the ability to book a seat in advance. To view the Members’ Reserve seating map, please click here.

MCC Members' Reserve

At the start of the 2022 AFL Premiership Season, the ‘Fully Ticketed’ system for blockbuster games was introduced, where members were required to book a seat themselves and visitors in advance to obtain entry. Please note, there will be no further Fully Ticketed games for the remainder of the AFL home and away matches in 2022.

Match Categories

Matches have still been allocated in three categories in accordance with attendance estimates and expected demand of amenities by members, however, some of the access and entitlements for members have been updated.

Full and Restricted members as well as annual guest cardholders have access to the Reserve for all 2022 AFL home and away matches. Provisional members can also access the Reserve for selected matches, as outlined in the table below.

Note: Annual guest cardholders have the same access rights as a visitor.
