COVID-19 update for members


In light of the Victorian Government’s COVID-19 restrictions to contain the state’s recent outbreak, the Club wishes to advise of updated arrangements to upcoming events at the MCG.

AFL Round 14 – Hawthorn v Essendon – June 20

The Club wishes to advise that the Hawthorn v Essendon match previously scheduled at the MCG has been moved to Launceston's UTAS Stadium in the midst of Victoria's COVID-19 restrictions.

The Club will communicate further information about future rounds of the AFL Premiership Season in due course.

The Australian Sports Museum, MCG Tours and MCC Library to reopen Monday June 21

The Australian Sports Museum, MCG Tours and MCC Library will reopen from 10:00am AEST, Monday June 21, in line with the latest easing of restrictions announced by the Victorian Government.

The reopening of the MCG for members, guests and visitors will be in line with capacity restrictions and the Club will continue to work with the Victorian Government and communicate to all visitors around the capacity restrictions that will be in place.

The award-winning Australian Sports Museum and MCG Tours will reopen 7 days a week, excluding AFL match days. MCC members can take an MCG Tour for free, and enjoy 20% off the Australian Sports Museum experience. You will need to pre-purchase your tickets here.

The MCC Library will also be open to Members through Gate 2, and be in operation between 10.00am-4.00pm on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.
