Fans of the big-hitting Big Bash League (BBL) will be treated to an exciting summer at the MCG with the 2022/23 season schedule announced today featuring six matches at the ‘G.
The BBL|12 season officially begins on Tuesday December 13. The MCG will host its first match on Friday December 16 between the Melbourne Stars and Hobart Hurricanes.Just over two weeks later the MCG will host the Melbourne Derby where the Melbourne Stars and Melbourne Renegades will do battle in one of the BBL’s biggest marquee matches.
The MCG will also host Melbourne Stars home matches against the Sydney Sixers, Adelaide Strikers, Brisbane Heat and Sydney Thunder throughout January.
Ticket on-sale dates for the MCC Reserve will be announced in due course.
