As ground manager of the MCG, safety is our number one priority.
We provide an inclusive and welcoming environment where children and young people can enjoy live events and other activities such as an MCG Tour or a visit to the Australian Sports Museum.
Child safety policies and procedures help ensure the MCG is a safe environment for all children and young people on event and non-event days. These policies and procedures also apply to the external venues managed by the MCC.
Child safety is everyone’s responsibility.
All adults who attend the MCG, whether staff, volunteers, contractors or visitors, are expected to conduct themselves responsibly when in the presence of children and young people and treat everyone with care and respect.
The MCG is the people’s ground – a special place full of memorable experiences, and a safe venue for everyone.
