How to Apply for Membership
In order to be placed on the MCC membership waiting list, the candidate must complete a nomination form and submit it to the Club with an accompanying fee of $150 (incl. GST).
Nomination forms require the signature of both a proposer and seconder who must be Full members of the Melbourne Cricket Club.
Unfortunately, the MCC does not accept nomination applications via email or forms that have been scanned or photocopied. We require the original copy of the form with original signatures. Forms may be posted to the Club at the address listed below. Alternatively, you can drop the forms into the Club at Membership Services via Gate 2 of the MCG.

In accordance with the Club rules, it is the responsibility of the candidate to obtain two Full members to propose and second their application. Restricted and Provisional members are not permitted to propose or second nominations.
Please note, no additional fees will be incurred until an offer of membership is made.
Full members are able to propose or second a maximum of 4 nominations per membership season.

Please note that when a nomination form is sent in the post, payment can be made with credit card (MasterCard or Visa only) or via cheque or money order made out to the Melbourne Cricket Club.

Applicants must complete an MCC membership nomination form (PDF) and pay the $150 nomination fee. Nomination forms require the signature of a proposer and seconder, both of whom must be Full financial members of the MCC.
Club rules do not permit Restricted or Provisional members to propose or second nominations.
No photocopied or emailed nomination forms will be accepted, as signatures must be the original. Full members can propose or second up to four candidates each membership season commencing September 1.
The Committee determines the number of candidates it can offer Provisional, Restricted and Full membership in June or July of each year.
Due to numerous variable factors that are taken into consideration when determining new member intakes each year, it is not possible to estimate exactly how long a candidate on the waiting list will have to wait before they are offered membership.
However, we do know the nomination date of the latest candidates elected to membership in our intake for the upcoming season. Further details on the latest intake can be found at Latest Membership Intake.
