Ticketing
For all home and away matches in the 2026 AFL Premiership Season, both unreserved and reserved seating areas will be available throughout the Members’ Reserve. Members can scan their membership card at the gate to access the Reserve, subject to match category conditions.
The AFL fixture for Rounds 0-15 has been released. Ticket prices and member access arrangements can be found on each match’s event page. The dates and times of remaining matches will be announced later in the year.
Please note the separate on-sale time and visitor ticket allocations for the ANZAC Day match in Round 7.
On-Sale Dates
Tickets will go on sale to MCC members via Ticketek:
- Opening Round: Monday February 16, 10am
- Rounds 1-6: Tuesday February 24, 10am
- Rounds 7-10 (excluding ANZAC Day): Tuesday March 24, 10am
- ANZAC Day: Tuesday March 24, 12pm midday
- Round 11-15: Tuesday May 12, 10am
- Rounds 16-24: TBC
Member Access
50-Year, Full and Restricted members, as well as Annual Guest Card holders, have access to the Members’ Reserve for all home and away matches during the 2026 AFL Premiership Season.
For a small number of matches when the attendance of 50-Year, Full and Restricted members and their visitors is forecast to be high, such as the ANZAC Day match, Provisional members may have limited or no access to the Members’ Reserve.
Note: Annual Guest Card holders have the same access rights as a visitor.
Match Categories
AFL matches at the MCG will be classified as Category 1, 2 or 3 according to the expected demand from members and their guests to attend the Members’ Reserve.
These categories determine match access for members, what areas can be entered and how many visitor tickets and Long Room or Balcony passes a member can obtain for their guests.

**Members booking reserved seats on Level 2 will be limited to the same number of visitors that apply for Balcony passes. Please note that visitors with a Level 2 reserved seat do not require a Balcony pass to access their seats, however, a Long Room pass (subject to availability) will be required for visitors when wanting to access the Long Room.
When the Committee Room Restaurant is available for members’ dining, Members’ Dining Room conditions apply.

Seating on Levels 2 & 3, Long Room and Balcony Passes
A Long Room or Balcony pass is required for visitors wishing to access unreserved seating on Levels 2 and 3, subject to match category conditions.
Unreserved seating on Levels 2 and 3 is available to eligible members, and visitors with Long Room or Balcony passes on a first-in, first-served basis in accordance with match category conditions.
Once an unreserved seat has been chosen on Levels 2 and 3, those in attendance will be issued with a reserved seat ticket.
Visitors with a Level 2 reserved seat do not require a Long Room or Balcony pass to access their seats. However, a Long Room pass will be required for visitors wishing to access the Long Room (subject to availability).
Members booking reserved seats on Level 2 are limited to the same number of visitor tickets that apply for Balcony passes as per match category conditions.
The Long Room is only accessible for eligible members as well as visitors with a Long Room pass aged 18 and over.
A Long Room pass can be obtained to provide a visitor with access to the Long Room and unreserved seating on Levels 2 and 3 of the Members’ Reserve. Dress standards apply.
Members can apply for Long Room or Balcony passes for their visitors depending on the match category, subject to availability.
Members do not require a Long Room or Balcony pass for themselves as their membership card will provide access.
Applications for Long Room and Balcony passes open via the event page on the MCC website at 9:00am (Melbourne time) on the Monday* two weeks prior to each round and close at 5:00pm (Melbourne time) on Tuesday of the following week, or until all passes are exhausted. *Unless Monday is a public holiday, in which case applications will open on the Tuesday.
There is a limit of 10 successful applications per member for the season. Members who do not collect their allocated passes on more than one occasion without prior notice to the Club will be excluded from making applications for the season.
All available passes not allocated in advance will be available for collection on match day from the passes window on the left-hand side of Gate 2. Check the event page on the MCC website for the latest updates on pass availability.
Members' Information
Alcohol-free sections have been allocated both in the reserved and unreserved seating areas within the Members’ Reserve for the 2026 AFL Premiership Season.
The alcohol-free seating areas are:
- Level 1: M45 (unreserved) and M46 (reserved)
- Level 2: N48 (unreserved) and N41 (reserved)
- Level 4: Q43-45 rows A-F (reserved)
Note: Any unallocated reserved seating in the alcohol-free sections will be made available for alcohol-free unreserved seating access.
The Club is pleased to offer Member-Only areas for the 2026 AFL Premiership Season. These areas will be located in specific sections on Levels 1 and 4 of the Reserve, and will be determined on a match-by-match basis.
Reserved seat tickets in these areas will be available to purchase via Ticketek at the on-sale dates listed above.
- Tickets can be purchased via the Ticketek website (www.ticketek.com.au/mccmembers), by calling the MCC members priority Ticketek line (1300 136 961) or at Ticketek agencies.
- Tickets may also be purchased at the Gate 2 ticket windows on match days, subject to availability.
- When purchasing tickets your membership card will be required.
- Reserved seats must be purchased in the same transaction as visitor tickets to be seated in the same location.
- Members are expected to be in attendance with their visitors.
- Only members can collect pre-purchased tickets from the left-hand side of Gate 2 on match day. Visitors cannot collect pre-purchased tickets.
- A limit of 10 tickets per transaction applies.
- Provided they are accompanied by an MCC member, children with a junior AFL club membership may enter the Members’ Reserve and access unreserved seating at no cost, or purchase a reserved seat for $6 via Ticketek, for matches at which their card would have granted them access to the public areas of the ground.
- Misuse of MCC membership ticketing privileges may result in disciplinary action in-line with the MCC's Code of Conduct and Penalty Guide.
If you have pre-purchased a reserved seat or visitor ticket and can no longer attend the match, you can return your ticket via the Ticketek App.
Ticket returns close one hour prior to Gate 2 opening for each match.
For all home and away matches in the 2026 AFL Premiership Season, unreserved and reserved seating areas will be available throughout the Members’ Reserve.
Members will be able to reserve a seat on Levels 1, 2 and 4 of the Members’ Reserve via Ticketek. Any unallocated reserved seating, along with designated unreserved seating areas, will be made available as unreserved seating on the match day on a first-in, first-served basis, subject to capacity and availability.
Seat tickets for unreserved seating will be distributed on Levels 2 and 3 for all matches. For matches where the Members' Reserve is expected to be at or near capacity, seat tickets for unreserved seating will also be distributed on Level 1 and Level 4 (if available). The Club will advise when seat ticket distribution is taking place on the event page.
50-Year members can access seating in the 50-Year member section (N42) on Level 2 of the Members’ Reserve as well as the John Landy Room, exclusively available to 50-Year members. Visitor access into the John Landy Room and the 50-Year member section is subject to demand.
A dedicated amount of seating in the 50-Year member section will be available for pre-booking, with the remainder of the seating section and any unallocated reserved seating available for unreserved access on match days.

Reserved seating for patrons requiring accessible seating, including wheelchair spaces, and their carers (with a government-issued Companion Card) is available to purchase via the Ticketek event page when tickets are on sale.
Unreserved seating and spaces will also be available on a first-in, first served basis on match days, subject to availability.
Companions (of either a member or guest), receive free entry to the Members’ Reserve (with a valid Companion Card). To access an admission ticket for a valid Companion Card holder, please visit Membership Services at Gate 2 on match day. For additional information, visit companioncard.vic.gov.au.

The number of visitors permitted for dining at each match is outlined in the match categories table above, and on the event page.
Members and visitors who secure dining in the Members’ Dining Room, 1956 and Missymu by Shirley (and Committee Room Restaurant when available to members**) will also access a Level 2 reserved seat as part of their booking. To gain entry, members will scan their membership card at the turnstiles and visitors are able to obtain a general admission visitor ticket.
