Our Partners
Founded by Richmond Premiership player Bachar Houli, the Bachar Houli Foundation (BHF) uses sport to help foster social cohesion, build leadership skills and enhance education and employment pathways for young Muslims.
As Presenting Partner, the MCC Foundation proudly hosts a number of events and activities with BHF, including the annual Victorian Iftar Dinner at the MCG.
The National Indigenous Cricket Championships (NICC) showcase the best young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cricketers in Australia. The MCC Foundation has partnered with Cricket Australia as the NICC’s official inclusion partner, supporting pathways for male and female players and hosting an annual training camp at the MCG.
Based on Wurundjeri Country, the Melbourne Indigenous Transition School (MITS) provides a culturally safe learning environment for Indigenous students from regional and remote communities to pursue their education in Melbourne. With the MCC Foundation’s support, MITS students and alumni also take part in club sports and social activities within the local community.
The Sports Excellence Scholarship Fund (SESF) helps young Australian athletes overcome financial barriers to pursue their sporting goals. The MCC Foundation has supported hundreds of scholarships for students from low socio-economic, Indigenous and regional backgrounds.
The CALDplay program is a free initiative of the Western Bulldogs Community Foundation that helps culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) migrants engage in sport to improve their English, develop skills and increase social participation. As the Presenting Partner, the MCC Foundation is proud to help multicultural and migrant communities connect through sport, including welcoming participants to the MCG and Australian Sports Museum at the end of Term Gala Days.
The Cricket Victoria Girls Leadership Program was developed in partnership with former Australian cricketer Belinda Clark AO and is designed to empower female athletes aged 14–16 through leadership training and insights into cricket pathways. In addition to the leadership program, the MCC Foundation also supports a female coaching summit and umpires program to further increase women’s participation in cricket.
Proud 2 Play is an LGBTQIA+ charity working to make sport more inclusive. The MCC Foundation supports its ‘Rainbow Ready’ program, which helps clubs and organisations create safe environments for LGBTQIA+ participants.

The MCC endeavours to support community groups and local organisations that align with the Club’s values through the donation of vouchers for visits to the Australian Sports Museum and MCG Tours. Find out more or submit a donation request.
