About
The Long Room Wine and Food Society invites you to their inaugural Waitlist Members’ Old Bottle Night.
Bring one to two of your favourite ‘old’ bottles to share with fellow waitlist members. As a guide, 10+ years could be considered ‘old’ for a white wine and 12 to 15+ years for a red wine. Previous winners of the Members’ Old Bottle Day have generally been a red wine with an average age of 20 years.
Eminent wine writer and critic, Jeremy Oliver will give his expert opinion on all wines presented throughout the dinner. The winner of Jeremy’s Wine of the Night will be added to the Old Bottle Night perpetual trophy.
On arrival, enjoy sparkling wine and sherry from our cellar with an excellent three-course lunch to follow.
Please note, limited spots available and no specific seating arrangements will apply. This function is held in an informal U-shaped table setting.
