Full-Bore Rifle

Entry to the sport of shooting is through rifle clubs which provide basic training, practice competition and social interaction for the recreational shooter.

MCC Rifle Club has a membership which includes past members of Australian teams and has rifles and equipment available to introduce newcomers to the sport.

Full-bore rifle shooting uses 7.62 or 5.56 calibre target rifles, shot over distances from 300 metres to 900 metres.

The range is located at Grantville on the Bass Highway. Shooting is held from about 12.00pm on Saturdays.
