Melbourne Racing Club

MCC members can enjoy the benefits of the Club’s reciprocal access arrangement with the Melbourne Racing Club (MRC), with the opportunity to experience world-class racing at Caulfield, Mornington and Sportsbet Sandown.

2026/27 Racing Season

Full members of the Melbourne Cricket Club are entitled to one (1) complimentary Members’ Reserve Daily Guest Pass and the option to purchase one (1) additional Members’ Reserve Daily Guest Pass.

Visiting members from the MCC can access the benefits by:

  1. Purchasing a General Admission ticket (if applicable) before visiting the Race Day Office
  2. Presenting their 2026/27 Membership Card or a Letter of Introduction

Upon completing these two steps, members will receive one complimentary Daily Members' Reserve Guest Pass and the option to purchase an additional pass.

Excluded race days 

Please note that reciprocal privileges do not apply on the following feature race days:

  • Sportsbet Caulfield Guineas: Saturday  October 10, 2026
  • Sportsbet Caulfield Cup: Saturday October 17, 2026
  • Sportsbet Peninsula Cup: Sunday November 1, 2026
  • Sportsbet Blue Diamond: Saturday February 20, 2027
  • Sportsbet Mornington Cup: Saturday April 17, 2027

Tickets for Race Days can be purchased online via Ticketek

At the Gate

Tickets can also be purchased at the gate at all applicable Race Days. 

Hospitality Bookings

From two weeks prior to selected race days, eligible visiting members may also access hospitality in Members’ areas, subject to availability.

DRESS STANDARDS

While the Melbourne Racing Club encourages dressing to impress, we understand some race days may call for a more relaxed approach. That said, to preserve the elevated experience of our Members’ Reserve, the following dress code applies:

Acceptable Attire

  • Suit jackets and ties (Optional)
  • Tailored trousers or shorts
  • Collared dress shirts (short- or long-sleeved)
  • Smart dresses (with or without straps, as fashion dictates)

Not Permitted

  • Jeans or denim
  • Polo shirts
  • Cargo shorts
  • Sneakers or thongs (regardless of brand)
  • Runners or trainers
  • Casual jackets (e.g. with zips)
  • Bare midriffs

Children aged 12 and over must follow the MRC Members’ Reserve dress code.

Children aged 11 and under should be neatly dressed in a style appropriate to the Members’ Reserve.
