Back-to-back cricket and entertainment at the ‘G
Join us at the ‘G on Sunday January 4 for a full day of cricket and entertainment across the Members’ Reserve.
Catch the opening ball and all the action of the Sydney Test live from the Trumble Bar & Café, then lock in with the Kick it Forward crew for BBL|15 and the Melbourne Stars vs Renegades Derby later in the evening.
Sydney Test Viewing at Trumble Bar & Café

Start your day with a special broadcast of Day 1 of the Sydney Ashes Test, with the first ball at 10:30am.
Members and their guests can enjoy food and drinks along with a relaxed atmosphere, featuring:
- an MC and cricket guest speaker during the tea interval at approximately 3:10pm
- DJ entertainment during the Test lunch and tea breaks, and from 4pm.
Access
- MCC members may enter Trumble Bar & Café from 10:00am by scanning their member card at the external Trumble gates (between Gates 1 & 2).
- Non-members require a match day visitor ticket purchased for them by an MCC member.
- Access is first-in, best-dressed. No registrations are required.

Kick It Forward take over the Robbie Flower Terrace
Where: Robbie Flower Terrace
When: 4:00pm – 6:05pm
In the lead-up to the evening’s BBL|15 Melbourne Derby between the Stars and Renegades, Harry Fitzgerald and Josh Garlepp from Kick it Forward will bring their signature energy and banter to Robbie Flower Terrace.
From 4:00pm until the first ball, the duo will entertain and excite by:
- hosting games and giveaways
- interviewing a cricket guest speaker.
Access
- A Level 4 bay will also be open for those who wish to stay on and watch the match from the Reserve.
- MCC members can enter the Reserve via Gate 2 by scanning their member card.
- Non-members will require a match day visitor ticket purchased for them by an MCC member.
- This is a standard match-day operation and first-in, best-dressed.
