Ask a question ahead of the 189th Annual General Meeting

This year, the Club is trialling a new approach to General Business questions ahead of the 189th Annual General Meeting (AGM) to be held on Thursday June 11, 2026.*
For the first time, members can submit questions in advance via an online portal. This builds on the Club's recent move towards a hybrid AGM model, improving how members can engage with the meeting. The new format gives more members the opportunity to participate in question time, not just those attending in person or online on the night. It also allows the Committee and Executive to provide more thorough responses, which will be published and visible to the full membership cohort ahead of the AGM.
The portal is open to all members and closes at 5:00pm AEST Wednesday June 3, 2026. Responses will be published on the question submission portal by 5:00pm AEST Friday June 5, 2026.
Please note
- The portal is open to all financial members of the MCC.
- Your name and member number will be published alongside your question. Similar questions may be grouped and addressed with a single consolidated response.
- Only questions will receive a response. Submissions in the form of statements or commentary will not receive a response.
- While we will endeavour to respond to as many questions as possible, the Committee reserves the right to determine whether a submission is a matter appropriate for consideration and cannot guarantee a response to every submission.
- Questions are welcome on the night as part of General Business; however, questions addressed through the pre-submission portal will not be re-answered.
