Bledisloe Cup at the MCG

The Wallabies and the All Blacks will meet at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) on Saturday July 31, 2027, when game two of the 2027 Bledisloe Cup comes to Melbourne as part of the Flight Centre Rugby Championship.

The match will be the 185th between the Wallabies and the All Blacks and the first at the MCG since July 29, 2023, when 83,944 fans watched New Zealand beat Australia 38–7.

The MCG has hosted four Bledisloe Cup matches, and every one has drawn a crowd of more than 75,000. The crowd set at the 1997 Bledisloe Cup Test held the venue’s rugby union attendance record for almost 30 years, until it was recently surpassed by the Wallabies Test against the British & Irish Lions in 2025.
