About
The Melbourne Cricket Club invites members and guests to join in the Melbourne Cup celebrations from the Members’ Reserve on Tuesday November 4.
The revelry begins with a picture perfect photo opportunity on the boundary line of the MCG where you will be treated to arrival drinks and canapes.
Enjoy the live broadcast of the ancillary races from the comfort of the Committee Room while you enjoy a two course sit down meal (entree and main).
Then take in the main event, the Melbourne Cup, in the Long Room where a themed dessert station will take center stage.
The festivities will be hosted by former Group 1 Jockey and racing media personality, Alf Matthews. He will be joined by racing enthusiast and Collingwood legend, Tony Shaw as guest speaker.
Guests will also enjoy a five-hour beverage package and plenty of Cup Day activities including live portraits by professional artists that guests can take home as a keepsake and a sweepstakes competition with prizes up for grabs.
