After securing a maiden T20 title earlier this year the MCC Women’s Premier First XI have continued their success, winning the most recent One-Day Grand Final over the top-ranked Geelong.

This is the Club’s fourth premiership since the women’s program became part of the Premier Cricket competition, and their last big win since the 2023/24 season.

Anna O’Donnell was awarded the Betty Wilson Medal as Player of the Final in her 305th Premier game after claiming two wickets in her second over. This would also be Anna’s final appearance for the Club, retiring on the highest possible note.

This premiership reflects a remarkable season that saw a total of five First XI debutants.

The Melbourne Cricket Club congratulates the Women’s First XI on an exceptional season.
