Sam Harper named BBL|15 Player of the Tournament

MCC cricketer and Melbourne Stars opener Sam Harper has been named the KFC BBL|15 Player of Tournament following several career best performances.

Scoring 371 runs at an average of 61.83 and strike rate of 155.23, Harper claimed the accolade (16 votes) ahead of Liam Scott from the Adelaide Strikers (15 votes).

Harper was consistently dominant heading into the Melbourne Stars finals campaign, helping the side to a memorable win over local rivals the Melbourne Renegades at Marvel Stadium earlier this month.

A well-respected member of the MCC cricket community, the Club congratulates Harper on his success over the BBL|15 season.
