BBL|16 Fixture confirmed
The full schedule for the 2026/27 BBL|16 season has been confirmed with the MCG to host six matches across the summer.
Announced last week, the MCG will be the new home of the Melbourne Renegades along with existing tenant club, the Melbourne Stars, providing local fans with more opportunities to enjoy BBL at the ‘G.
On December 18 the Melbourne Stars will host the Adelaide Strikers, with the Renegades to play the club’s first MCG home game of the season on New Year’s Day against the Sydney Sixers.
The Stars and Renegades will meet on two occasions, with the first Melbourne Derby to take place on January 4, before returning on January 16 in what will be the final MCG match of the regular season.
Member arrangements for the BBL|16 season will be communicated to members later in the year.

- Friday January 1, 2027: Melbourne Renegades vs Sydney Sixers, 4.00pm
- Monday January 4, 2027: Melbourne Stars vs Melbourne Renegades, 6.05pm
- Thursday January 7, 2027: Melbourne Stars vs Sydney Sixers, 7.15pm
- Thursday January 14, 2027: Melbourne Stars vs Hobart Hurricanes, 7.15pm
- Saturday January 16, 2027: Melbourne Renegades vs Melbourne Stars, 7.15pm
