Pink-Ball match headlines MCG Sheffield Shield schedule

The MCG will host three Sheffield Shield matches across the 2026/27 season, including a day-night match between Victoria and Tasmania in the lead-up to the 150th Anniversary Test.

The Pink-Ball match in February 2027 will be the first Shield day-night match at the MCG in more than a decade with the historic Test match between Australia and England played the following month.

In addition to this match, the MCG will also host two Shield matches between Victoria and Western Australia in November, and Victoria and Queensland in December.

MCC tickets and arrangements for the three international matches scheduled at the MCG for 2026/27 will be announced shortly. Sheffield Shield arrangements will also be confirmed closer to the matches.

Round 4 - Victoria v Western Australia

10:30am, November 11-14, 2026

Round 6 - Victoria v Queensland

10:30am, December 3-6, 2026

Round 7 - Victoria v Tasmania

2:30pm, February 8-11, 2027 (Day-night match)
