The Melbourne Cricket Ground will once again open its gates for one of Melbourne's most unique fundraising nights, with Melbourne City Mission's (MCM) Sleep At The 'G returning on Thursday 14 May.

Registrations are now open for the 2026 event, which invites individuals, families, corporate teams and community groups to spend a night at the MCG to raise funds and awareness for youth homelessness in Victoria.

The evening includes fireside chats with guest speakers, music, games, warming food, a pyjama parade and more.

On any given night, over 7,600 young Victorians aged 12-24 are without a safe place to call home. Many are couch surfing, sleeping in cars, or staying in crowded and unsafe housing.

Sleep At The ‘G helps to raise essential funds to provide stable housing and wraparound support, enabling young people to build independence, reconnect with education and employment, and break the cycle of homelessness for good.

Last year, 894 sleepers came together to raise more than $730,000 for MCM’s programs.
