Whilst your card can be used to scan into the Members’ Reserve without action once received, the payment functionality of your card is initially inactive. Activation is voluntary and the card can still be used as an MCC membership card even if you elect not to activate it.
We recommend members activate their card soon after receiving it in the post, before the activation code included with the card becomes lost or discarded.
Eligibility
In order to be eligible to activate the MCC Plus functionality, a member must:
a. Reside in Australia
b. Be a financial member of the MCC
c. Comply with any other requirements set out in the Product Disclosure Statement and any activation instructions on our website
How to Activate
When activating the payment functionality of your card on the MCC Plus portal, you will be required to login to the MCC website.
- Start the card activation process on the MCC Plus portal.
- You will be prompted to enter the Card ID and Activation Code which is included in the pack that contains your MCC Plus card and brochure describing the MCC Plus program.
- Follow the prompts to set up a 4 digit pin for your MCC Plus card.

Activate a Replacement MCC Plus Card
To activate your card, login using your MCC website account details (member number and password) to the MCC Plus Portal.
- Once logged in, click ‘Manage Multiple Cards’.
- On the drop down list, select the card number which matches your new card.
- Click ‘Activate New Card’.
- Enter the Card ID and Activation Code, found on the carrier your new card is attached to.
- When prompted, enter a new 4 digit pin for your new MCC Plus card.
